This post shows how I have developed my photoshop skills as well as making my contents page look more conventional and appealing towards my audience.
As you can see my Preliminary contents page was pretty dull and boring. It has little information about the contents of the magazine and doesnt have very god form. The pictures are plain and dont have much that relates them to the article on the contents and front page. The columns and numbers are also different widths and sizes making it look unproffesional.
Whereas my final piece has become a lot more conventional and formed. It looks more like a real magazine, with the colours matching the genre of the magazine as well as the pictures linking in with the relevant articles. There isnt any big blank spaces on this contents either so it doesnt look like there is anything missing. The columns have been made to all be the same size, with clear changes in the text to show the difference between headings, subheadings and descriptions.
